Teaching Methodology

"My teaching methodology is concept-based, interactive and application-oriented. I usually follow a simple progression: Example → Observation → Explanation → Questioning → Application. Rather than beginning with a definition and asking students to memorise it, I prefer to give them an example first, allow them to observe the pattern, and then introduce the concept. Once the concept is clear, I use questions and new examples to check whether the student can actually apply what they have learned. I also try to make my lessons relatable and engaging, especially for younger students, while maintaining academic discipline and an examination-oriented approach. My goal is not simply for students to remember a rule. I want them to understand why the rule works, recognise it in a new situation, and use it independently. So, in simple terms, my teaching philosophy is: Understand it → Question it → Apply it."
