Questions to Ask Before Hiring a Home Tutor

Prepare Before Hiring a Tutor

Asking clear questions helps parents understand whether a tutor is suitable for their child. Discuss the subject requirements, teaching approach, schedule, and expectations before regular classes begin.

Questions Worth Asking

• Which classes and subjects do you teach?
• What is your teaching experience?
• How do you identify learning gaps?
• How often will progress be reviewed?
• What are your availability and fees?

Confirm arrangements directly and ensure the student feels comfortable asking questions during lessons.
